Monday 1st February saw Day 2 of the 2016 Norfolk School Cross Country 1Games Winter Finals take place at Gresham’s School in Holt. The second day of the Games saw over 600 young runners take part in the Yr 3-6 cross country finals.

Each of the participants had qualified to represent their local School Sports Partnership (SSP) by taking part in a prior qualifying competition. Each SSP team included 80 runners made up of 10 boys and girls from each of years 3/4/5/6.

The young runners completed the following distances;Cross Country 3

  • Year 4 (boys & girls) – 1200m
  • Year 5 (boys & girls) – 1400m
