NSG Colour Run 2022

That’s another Norfolk School Games COLOUR RUN over for another year.

What a colourful day we had and we hope that everyone who attended had a fun day too.

Despite lower numbers than our 2019 event, mainly due to a few last-minute cancellations on the day,  both events were successful and went down well with the children, staff and schools that attended. At points, the staff definitely seemed to be having more fun than the pupils.

The event targeted pupils well, therefore, the overall impact and outcomes were positive, with good feedback received on the day.

‘ Last week’s Norfolk School Games Colour Run was very well organised with a well marshalled course, the warm-up was full of enthusiasm and energy which helped some of our more nervous students feel at ease. The event focused on participation which encouraged everyone to complete the 5km distance at a pace that was appropriate to them. Students loved getting coated in paint at the end of each lap and some made it their mission to finish the day with the most colour and paint on them! Great job and thank you to the Norfolk School Games team! ‘ Mr. Wilding, APHS.

We would like to thank the schools and their amazing staff members for their hard work behind the scenes and on the day to ensure pupils get a chance to attend events like this. We know how much work it takes, especially at the moment.

Also, a massive thank you to Good Running Events Ltd. for helping us host this event for our Norfolk schools and to Matthew Potter Photographer and Videographer for all of his hard work at the event.
If you have any comments or feedback from the day then we would love to hear from you, please contact Joanne Thompson via email, at joanne.thompson@activenorfolk.org
