FREE Angling Taster Evening for Secondary School staff at Barford Lakes

FREE Angling Taster Evening For Secondary School Staff – Tuesday 24th May 4pm – 6.30pm at Barford Lakes

A FREE event to introduce school staff to the joys of angling. Food on arrival included! BBQ Pulled pork roll with homemade coleslaw.

All equipment, bait and coaching is provided and the evening is designed to introduce school staff to the social benefits of angling, the facilities at Barford Lakes and the coaching opportunities available.

Since Angling has been part of the Norfolk School Games we have found that the event has involved pupils not normally engaged in other school sport. A fantastic reason to come along and find out how your school can take up this opportunity and help get particular pupils involved.

Angling develops social skills, particularly empathy, builds confidence and self-esteem and helps build the ability to maintain concentration, filter out distractions and control behaviour.  Participating in activities within green spaces has long been associated with improved wellbeing.

To book your place please email stating ‘Angling Taster’ the number of places and your school name to; norfolkschoolgames@outlook.com

N.B. please state if you require a vegetarian/gluten free food option.
