Jon Osborne, School Games Organiser commented;
“Congratulations to all of the girls that took part in today’s Girls Football Finals. They have all done really well to qualify through to represent their local School Sport Partnership in today’s Finals. It has been great to see so many girls taking part in the qualifying competitions and having the opportunity to take part in competitive football matches, many for the first time. We hope that many of them will have been bitten by the football bug and they will go on to continue playing football at school or in their own time by joining a local football club.”
