Norfolk Cross-Country Finals Results Released

The results of the Norfolk School Games Cross-Country Finals have been released

Taking place on Wednesday 22nd November 2023, the Cross-Country Finals were held at Thetford High Lodge, and offered a series of fun and engaging races through the forest for the various schools who took part.

With over 600 pupils from years 3-6 taking part, the event was hailed as a huge success by all who took part. Each student who took part put in a phenomenal effort, and impressed the staff on hand. Schools remarked on how well the event was run, whilst the young people taking part offered up incredible feedback. One pupil remarked on how they had conquered their fear of running in front of a large crowd and enjoyed the day immensely.

What were the results?

The full list of results can be found here.

For each race, the names of those who took part are listed, alongside their School Sports Partnership (SSP). Their last names have been redacted to protect the safety of pupils, however they will be able to identify themselves by their running number on the day and their year group.

Each of the race winners received sustainable medals to acknowledge their achievements. All runners who took part were awarded a certificate, to encourage continued physical activity outside of the organised event.
