High 5 Netball

Thursday 20th June saw the fourth day of the Norfolk School Games take place and part of that was the High 5 Netball finals which were held at the UEA Sportspark and City Academy Norwich. Sixteen large school teams and 8 small school teams from across the eight School Sport Partnerships in Norfolk took part with over 200 enthusiastic year 4, 5 and 6 children enjoying netball in the sun.

The large school teams competed in a group round robin with the top two teams progressing onto the cup competition and the teams placed in third and fourth entering the plate competition. Teams then entered a second round robin before playing off against the team who finished in the same position in the other group. Small schools took part in a round robin tournament throughout the day. Each team throughout the day played at least 7 matches.

The day showcased the player’s excellent High 5 Netball skills and it was great to see such high levels of participation with schools demonstrating fantastic team work.
