Norfolk Winter School Games Week Postponed

Due to weather conditions forecast this week we have taken the decision to postpone the following Norfolk School Games Finals: 

Cross Country- Forecasts are suggesting that Holkham could feel as cold as -10 degrees and with there being no indoor space for competitors and predicted travel disruption we felt that in the interest of ensuring a positive and safe experience for competitors we need to rearrange.

The event will now take place on Wednesday 7^th March, still at Holkham Hall, the event schedule and timings remain as planned.

Girls Football- Overnight snowfall expected over the next two nights is likely to result in the pitches not being clear for play on the day of the event. That along with the forecasts suggesting the temperature will not go above freezing and current school closures we have no other option than to postpone this event.

The event will now take place on Thursday 8^th March, still at Goals Centre, Norwich, the event schedule and timings remain as planned.

Secondary Alternative Sports Day- Due to the current low numbers, possible school closures and disruptive travel this week we have taken the decision to postpone the Norfolk School Games Alternative Sports Day.

We are working hard to let you know as soon as possible a secured new date for the event.

Whilst we are disappointed that these events have had to be postponed and apologise for any inconvenience caused we hope you understand that we are committed to ensuring all participants receive a positive, high quality and valuable experience of the Norfolk School Games.
