Special Schools Summer Games Festival

On Thursday 14th June, Special Schools from across Norfolk took part in the Summer Games Festival. Over 80 pupils from John Grant School, Hall School, The Clare School, Sheringham Woodfields School and Fred Nicholson School participated in the festival which aimed to introduce and engage more young people with a special educational need into school sports.

Pupils were split into groups and had the opportunity to take part in 2 activities from:

Dance

Boccia

Table Tennis

Curling

Athletics

Tennis

We’d like to thank all of the deliverers who helped with the event and the leaders from Diss High School who encouraged and supported the pupils so brilliantly. Photos taken during the event can be found here.

Our week long School Games finals begins tomorrow with mini tennis and high 5 netball at Sportspark. We look forward to welcoming more young people to each event.
